Printed Circuit Board Design Services

Printed Circuit Board Philosophy

We believe that your printed circuit should look as good as it performs. We don't just hook-up connections. We pay attention to the electro-mechanical design and interconnect issues. We neatly arrange components and circuits for optimum signal flow and minimal vias. As power and analog signal experts, we understand the importance of minimizing inductance on switching circuits and minimizing capacitive coupling on sensitive analog signals.

Experience

We have over 30 years of circuit design and layout experience. In the 1980's, we designed interconnects and printed circuits for data acquisition subsystems.

Through out the 1990's, we designed ever increasing sizes of plasma TVs. These displays require very fast switching of complex power circuits. Stray inductance had to be minimized due the high peak currents of plasma discharges. We designed the driving electronics, the power supplies, the flexible circuits, the mechanical assembly and the panels' themselves. Over the years, we used AutoCAD, PCAD, ViewLogic and Pads for development tools.

Today, we continue to use AutoCAD for mechanical design and we use CadSoft EAGLE for schematic entry and printed circuit board layout. Our clients often have strict budgets, so our use of bare bones design tools, gets the job done within budget, and our experience, gets the job done right!
