Display technology development driver.

We designed this circuit board for a display R&D company working under a design-for-build contract. Computer controlled power supplies produces voltages for display driver circuits (those not populated). A variety of MOSFET driver circuits produce waveforms that drive the reference of the display drivers while the power to the display drivers is a floating power supply.
That may be confusing to many engineers, but not us! High power switching circuits is our forté.

Since 1991 we have designed circuits for the demanding plasma TV technology where high frequency square waves of 200V must be generated to drive large capacitive and loads with minimum resistance, and inductance. We layout printed circuit boards using Cadsoft's Eagle Layout Editor. It is sufficient to meet the needs of most smaller companies and requires only a small investment. We also have experience with Viewlogic for schematics and Pads for layout and have recently evaluated Altium Designer. All schematic and layout packages are quite similar, so we can easily use your preferred tool suite.

As a designer of high voltage electronics (up to 500V), we have the experience to design a circuit board that meets your spacing, isolation, current, resistive and inductive requirements. We know the importance of maintaining clearance and creepage distances for reliability and safety. Other complexities like transformer design, isolated and/or floating ground planes, low inductance connections, electrical and magnetic fields, parallel mosfet driving arrangements, digital to analog conversion, analog to digital conversion, pulse with modulators, power factor correction, etc, are all within our field of expertise.

Below is a sample of some for the circuits included on a multi-function display controller we designed for a client. Control signals are provided by a cable to a computer. The circuit has several computer controlled isolated and non-isolated power supplies, high voltage switching mosfets, and a wide arrangement of control features.
